Review and Monitoring Systems at PERT:
We have strong policy on finance management and on networking strategy which has effective systems on monitoring and review on the programme as well as on administration. There are different methods for internal monitoring and peer-group review.
Internal monitoring system: This will be undertaken by 6 members team once in six months period. That is two members from the organisation, two members from the community federation and two persons from outside areas are undertake the internal monitoring aspects. These six-members team visits the programme villages, discuss with staff members, meet finance unit and come with a report of success stories with limitations and challenges. Based on the report there will be follow-up action on the programme and such report will be disseminated for all the stake-holders. This also will be useful for the project-end evaluation process.
Peer-Group Review Systems: Since it is a network programme, hence selected people from two organisations will visits other organisations on their activities, achievements, failures, problems etc. Similarly other two-organisation’ representatives visit other organisations activities. At the end there will be reporting and sharing on achievements and weakness of the programme and accounts. This process is mutual sharing on good aspects and bad aspects which will help all of us to encourage self-criticism and collective support for growth. This peer-group review facilitates us for the proper implementation and execution of the projects. This will be undertaken once in three months period.
So the project has peer-group review, internal monitoring systems, and external monitoring procedures. The peer-group review will be done once in three-months period, and the internal monitoring systems will be done once on six-months period and external monitoring procedures will be done by the donor agency. These systems are helpful for the effective impacts of the project works.
